Easy-On Instructions for the Base Layer:

1. Remove the Base Layer from the travel pouch and unzip it completely.
2. With your dog standing and facing you, gather the neck fabric to easily slip it over your dog’s head, ensuring the Kurgo logo is visible on the chest.
3. Gently place each paw into the front sleeves, gathering the fabric beforehand if your dog is wiggly.
4. With the back unzipped, place both back paws into the remaining sleeves, adjusting sleeve length as necessary.
5. Fasten the snap button at the base of the tail and zip up the zipper to the neck, securing the zipper keeper.
6. Wrap the belly band around your dog’s stomach for a fitted but comfortable feel.
7. Cinch the neck adjustment cord as needed for a secure fit.

The Stowe Base Layer is designed to provide neck, core, and 3/4 sleeve leg coverage on chilly days. It is essential to measure back length and chest circumference for the best fit. Due to the variety of dog shapes, adjustments may be necessary for optimal comfort:

If the legs are too long, fold the excess fabric inside and secure with hook and loop fabric adhesive or hem with a sewing machine.
If the legs are too loose, vertically fold the excess fabric and secure it in place.
If the belly area is too loose, use the belly band for a snugger fit.
If the neck area is too baggy, adjust with the neck adjustment cord.
